About this project

myLocal is a web based application that connects local business owners with shoppers in their community. Businesses can list their fresh produce, and consumers can buy directly from them, supporting local businesses and eating healthier.  myLocal already had a logo but needed branding, including a mascot, business card and social media graphics.

Design Process for Clients with Existing Logo

Step 1: Consultation and Discovery

I began by understanding the client’s goals and reviewing their existing logo, colors, and typography. This ensured that all new materials—whether print or branding-related—aligned seamlessly with their established identity.

Step 2: Planning and Strategy

I outlined the scope of the project, including deliverables such as business cards, print materials, and branding collateral. Initial design concepts were developed and shared for client feedback.

Step 3: Design Creation

Using their branding as a foundation, I:

  • Designed professional business cards with a polished layout.
  • Created high-quality print materials, such as brochures and signage.
  • Developed custom-branded marketing assets tailored to their audience.

Step 4: Revisions and Approval

Drafts were shared with the client for review, and designs were refined based on feedback to ensure the final materials met their expectations.

Step 5: Delivery and Support

Finalized designs were provided in all necessary formats, ensuring seamless implementation. I also offered guidance on print specifications and brand usage, with optional support available for future updates or additional assets.

  • This streamlined process ensured the client’s branding remained cohesive and impactful across all touchpoints, strengthening their professional presence in the market.
